A sunflower can grow from a tiny seed into a tall, blooming plant in roughly 52-95 days! All of these factors play a part in determining exactly when our sunflowers will be at their best.
Home of the giant spider
Knightongale Farm, an 82-acre working farm owned by Joel Greenwell, Sr. and his family. We are open seasonally with family-friendly activities, a sunflower patch, pumpkin patch, corn maze, fall festival and Christmas trees. Conveniently located off Rt. 2 in Harwood, Anne Arundel County, Maryland. Ample parking.

One of the best parts of living in Southern Maryland is all of the fun seasonal activities on local farms. This weekend, The BayNet headed to Knightongale Farm for their annual fall festival, where we got to try out fun activities, picked some choice pumpkins, and had an all-around great time. This fall fest was a fun way to spend a Saturday, and we saw people of all ages enjoying the activities.
